Haunted!

As per as my interest in the spooky stories grew more with my age and the sudden increase in this field lead me to some googling of haunted places and I found the below written most interesting ones.

Bhangarh , Rajathan

As per as my research,
Bhangarh Fort is situated on a hillside in the deserted town of Bhangarh, Rajasthan. Bhangarh is a ruined town between Jaipur and Alwar in Rajasthan and is located at the edge of Sariska Tiger Reserve.
Bhangarh fort is a major tourist attraction and is said to be one of the most haunted sites in the world.
As a myth by a sorcerer named, Guru Balu cursed the place and the people that they would die and their souls would perish in the castle till eternity.  "The moment the shadows of your palaces touch me, the city shall be no more!"
As you can see in the above board put by the Archaeological Survey of India "the entry of tourist is prohibited before dusk and after dawn".
Still the place remains a major attraction of the tourists!

Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai

Who needs a description for the Taj Mahal hotel!
Build by Shri Jamshedji Tata on a belief that he was prohibited to enter a hotel named Watson's Hotel which said "only whites". Sir wanted to build a hotel for his fellow Indians.
Taj is also known for the luxury and utmost level of hospitality its offers to its visitors.
But the horror goes back to the time of its creation when W.A Chambers one of the main architects associated committed suicide at the same place because of the frustration of failure of his one of the ideas which  had not executed the way he wanted.
People say that they have experienced his presence very often wandering in the 'chambers'.

These are the most interesting ones I found. There are plenty more stories of horror in India. It depends on your belief and disbelief.

Lok Sabha Election 2014

It is a democracy.

The rule of PM Dr. Manmohan Singh and UPA or Congress is coming to an end. We all are very well aware of the upcoming most interesting episode of Indian Democracy where Congress after being re-elected for a second term harmed the economy of the country and gave unprecedented rise to inflation, turning all its coin against self. Rahul Gandhi speaking with the tribes and coolies because he knows that the learned aren't giving him any vote.
Contesting the elections from the safe seat of  Amethi.

On the alternate is my favourite Prime Minister candidate Narendra Modi . The man who is in his fourth consecutive term of Chief Ministry in Gujarat. The state known for its development. Plain man with a loud voice. The voice which makes you think यार! बंदॆ मॆं दम है . I like him because of his straightforwardness and gut to speak the right. And he has proved his might in Gujarat. GO NAMO!!! Contesting elections from Varanasi and Varodara is surely the most popular and most talked about candidate. They say youth supports RG . Ghanta!

Arvind Kejriwal. The man who speaks a ton and does nothing. I wonder the people of Delhi have gone nuts to make him the CM. And then telling that he has done this and that.
Water 700l/day free. Electricity Bill reduction.
Does not get satisfied with a single Lok Pal Bill. Resigned. Without completing any other promise.
What do people of Delhi get? : "Baba Ji ka Thullu"
Challenges Modi for the seat in Varanasi not to contest but defeat Modi. Bad Attitude.

I feel that
They might shout
They might blame
At the end
Its going to be Narendra Modi
who will hit the aim.

Tension!

Ever since the paper showing
Naa... the exam's got over.
nada.. the maths paper
nope.. the SST.
nay.. the PL.
 no.. the date sheet.

Yes, ever since the DATE SHEET FINAL EXAM 2013-14 arrived the tension started brewing in the cauldron of my mind .

And then as the Preparatory Leave started to vanish from my hand, probably calender, the recipe was added with the spice of  first paper fear.

SST is a lengthy subject. So its preparation is. But the tension was to be able to complete studying the whole .For once. The flame turned on.

Mathematics. The subject I don't like the most. Not because of its difficulty level. But just because I find other subjects more interesting. I prepared. And stumbled. I knew it was bad. The heating.

The last day. Boiling began.

Paper Showing. Not the best I have had. Steam!

22nd March 2014. Result Awaits.

Reading - Hobby, Habit and Addiction!

There are plenty of people around the world who read more than tons of books in their life. Reading is wide spread and favourite habit of many folks and has , I think, increased with the passage of time. Due to the advent of .pdfs' and e-books people have started reading more and more books because now you don't have to issue them from a library nor pay for them. Its free of cost but worth a much lot.

I read my first book I think ,well I don't remember when but it was Chetan Bhagat's Two States . It was the first book I read to the full never stopping once trough the task. I had various reasons to like the book and have the patience to complete it. It was perfectly based on the ideology of my country, about inter caste marriage, about the kind of things people do before the marriage and the fact that it was the first added to my anxiousness to complete it.I think it was then I actually began developing the habit of reading.

After that I read CB's other works which were Three Mistakes of my life and Revolution 2020. I didn't like them as much as did the first book. But still they were not that bad too.
I read the next best selling and much talked about novel by Ravinder Singh , I too hada love story. I liked it rather loved it to its simplicity but still I would prefer Two States over it.

Then , I was unaware of the fact that I was falling to the newly discovered hobby that would later be such a pure bliss.

At that time I read like , okay, one hour , everyday and finish the book around in three to four days. As at that time it was limited to the hobby.

It became an addiction when I could not get over the fact that till date(at that time not now)
I could not read a better book than my maiden.

First I had advice of my elder sisters and brothers when I went reading. And the similar way , my bhaiya offered me a book he had brought along  while he was visiting us during the rains. It was the Manning Brides by Debbie Macomber . It started grabbing my attention ever since I found bhaiya reading with utmost seriousness. But when I read it myself, I discovered it was nothing much extra ordinary about the book and nothing at all as the Indian writers try to pose. It was just loving portrayal of simple things with an extra ordinary writing skill. Though I began reading it with anxiety of what would happen next I could not complete it before the break of the night and decided to continue the next day. But from the moment I went to bed I could not just get my mind to think about so many more things happening but The book. I was getting restless and my brain had started creating the further story on itself which I didn't liked at all. I could not switch on the lights at that odd hour. So I grabbed the book and sat down the corridor on floor beneath the night lamp which was the brightest at that time and completed the book. I wonder had I shown such seriousness at the time of exams maybe!

Then I began limiting my reading to foreign writers as I found them much much better.
Nicholas Sparks and Jennifer Cruise made the top google when I searched in my interest.

Getting awake whole night followed as a routine to complete the books. However tired I would be I didn't stop till I read the epilogue and ended with a satisfactory and victorious smile or tears of happiness I felt for the fictional characters.

This journey is fun!

Fox Traveller . The channel looks at accentuating the travel, unlike regular travel shows that concentrate on destinations, the shows on Fox Traveller focus on the fun element attached to travel, the experiences and the people. The audiences includes people who are hungry for new, bigger, better, and varied experiences; open to experimenting; open to trying out even challenging things and wanting to visit the places and ideas that they see on the channel.

^^ Wikipedia says the above.. and the regularly blah blah blah goes onn... but I prefer to give an official insight.

But when you return home, from a tiring day where you had your dance practice infinite number of times to make it perfect.. and you switch on the television.. and dahhh.. the boring sas-bahu serials.. or the debating news channels.. or the music channels which play more advertisements... etc.

There is one channel which surely draws my attention.. and keeps me stuck with the idiot box all day..

Yes! Fox Traveller
It celebrates 2m likes on fb!!
But that has a sure reason which is the variety of shows provided by the channel which include travel and food. (both are type so I guess you know why I love the channel)

Travelling. Photography. Food. Music.
Have always been my favourites and Fox Traveller sums it all in one channel. However down my mood be it always lightens up seeing the following shows on the channel.

May it be the delicious street food around by James Chunningham
Or the Indian Foreign fusion beats.
Or the delicacies of different cuisines -  Maeve O'Meara
Or the insane Gordon Ramsay working in Kitchen Nightmares!

Its sheer joy to watch all the things brought up by the channel and it feels that you are enjoying it being at the place  they are covering it.

This journey is (really) fun!

I don't know if you can get jet lagged without changing time zones but I definitely was. I had a late night flight from Mumbai to Bangal...
